What is the relative electric charge of an alpha particle?

An alpha particle has a relative electric charge of +2.

Electric charge is additive. An alpha particle consists of two neutrons – each of which has a relative electric charge of 0 – and two protons – each of which has a relative electric charge of +1 – so the overall relative electric charge of an alpha particle is +2.

Relative electric charge denotes the charge of something relative to the electron, which is defined as having a charge of −1. A charge in coulombs is an absolute electric charge. The absolute electric charge of an alpha particle is approximately \(3.2 \times 10^{-19}\,\mathrm{C}\).
